How to Calculate GST
- Add GST: GST = price × rate ÷ 100. Total = price + GST.
- Remove GST: Original price = inclusive price × 100 ÷ (100 + rate).
Example: ₹1,000 at 18% GST gives GST of ₹180 and a total of ₹1,180. Removing 18% GST from ₹1,180 gives back ₹1,000.
